Marketing Executive, Picador
An exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join an award-winning publisher and rapidly growing imprint. This role will execute marketing campaigns for the Picador imprint.
The Marketing Executive will be joining an award-winning publisher and division. The role will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns for the Picador imprint. This position will report to the Senior Marketing Manager, Picador, and sit within the Picador Communications team, within the Pan Macmillan Communications department.
You may not have worked in book publishing previously however, if you have demonstrated strong communication skills and a passion for your product and role in a previous position, then we'd love to hear from you!
Key tasks include
- To support in the planning and delivering of creative, innovative communications campaigns
- To support in writing copy, and organise the printing of book proofs
- To brief creative agencies and freelancers on advertising and social content
- To write social, advertising, and proof and book jacket copy where required
- To brief social media and other digital campaigns
- To support in the running of Picador social media accounts
The successful candidate will have
- Strong and persuasive communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Good digital knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to flex communication style depending on
situation - Great organisational skills
- Experience of working in an office environment
- Superb diary and time management
- Creative ideas

- A keen interest in books and reading
- A good eye for design
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Canva
This is a full time, permanent role, and will be based in our office in Farringdon, London, with some flexibility to work from home each week.

Salary starting from: £28,000
