The UK Sales Department is responsible for all sales of our books in the UK and Ireland. The team manages and maintains relationships with buyers and booksellers from large online retailers to small independent bookshops. We pitch new books to retailers and aim to get books the best placement and visibility in shops and online. The Pan Macmillan team is made up of 25 people and includes:
- Head office Sales Managers: specialists in supermarkets, high street and online retail
- Regional Account Managers on the road across the country: experts on independent bookshops and events
- Dedicated Account Managers in both Scotland and Ireland with detailed local knowledge of the retail and publishing sectors in those countries
- A retail marketing team, working directly with our customers’ marketeers and creating material and point of sale for bookshops
- A dedicated Special Sales team including a Sales Partnerships Manager specifically working on brand opportunities
